A downloadable game

48K ZX Spectrum - 2009

Help guide the gifts to the sacks so they can be delivered in time for Christmas day, whilst avoiding the holes and hammers so no child receives a broken present this year.

This is a quick & fun game for Christmas 2009, inspired by the puzzle element of SEGA's Chu-Chu Rocket.

As well as the 40 levels in the actual game, a level editor is included so you can design your own levels and freely distribute them by making an emulator snapshot image of the game.

Mister Beep returns with an excellent beeper tune for the front-end, and fellow WOS-members Graz & Andrew Owen have designed a number of the levels.

MicroMart - "This game shares a couple of similarities with Psygnosis's classic Lemmings, though each level is played from a birds-eye view. The game is complete with excellent musical scores by Mister Beep... ...fill your stockings with this great game..."

Nice game !

is there any chance of AY chip tunes being added ?
maybe it requires 128KB model ?
still i really want to play this game with accompanying tunes.

sorry to disappoint you, but no - this game is now over 10 years old, and won’t be updated for 128K-only music.

pity... i think this game is worth having such features.

Hi, I've only just discovered this great title. I love this kind of game! :) I agree that AY music would be nice, but I do appreciate that this game was finished 10 years ago and you're not going to return to it. I also understand that some developers like the consistency of having the 48 and 128k play (and sound) exactly the same.

However, if you're ever looking for AY music any time (perhaps if you make a sequel to this), then AY music is my speciality (and my passion) and I'd be happy to contribute for free. I can provide music and effects in a self-contained player format that's relatively easy to add to a game :-) Just putting the offer out there in case it's of interest! :-)

Anyway, great little game! Well done!

Many thanks, I’ll keep you in mind for any future games that need AY music, but yes, no further development will occur on this game.

Cool :) This is my profile on Spectrum Computing, in case you want to get in touch:

just have finished and it was very fun.

thank you devs for this kind of cute & crisp puzzle. :)

Very glad you enjoyed playing it. Maybe try one of the two Stranded games, or the isometric W*H*B or X=Y=Z puzzlers next, and consider making a purchase if you can?

just paid as im very satisfied with the contents.
i have tried 2 versions of Stranded as well, but i do much prefer APAC to those. system and structure wise.

i must say adoption of WEGO/Impulse system for a puzzle on planning is simply best combination.
if it was relying on action as precondition like Lemmings, i wouldn't have bothered since i already have got enough of such types.

pls keep up with this course. i mean, more levels in total if possible. (at least 100...  no, hopefully 200 levels.)
